My name is Emily Rednour I am the director and owner of The Curious Caterpillars Learning Center. I am a mom to four children, 3 daughters Jordan, Miley, and Taelor and one son named Rowen. My husband Travis and I became owners of this center in December of 2021. My background is in psychology where I spent many years working with children. My passion has always been surrounded with children and education.
My name is Kassie Bisson, I am the Assistant Director at the Curious Caterpillar Learning Center. I started at the center assisting in the Pre-K class, I have a 2-year-old little girl that attends the center and a newborn baby girl as well. For the past several years I worked in the medical field in administration offices, most recently in the Executive Office at the Togus Veteran's Hospital in Augusta. I chose to make the move into education to allow more time with my daughters, but I love getting to see all the kids learn and explore new things everyday. Watching their development, progress and interactions always makes for a fun day! In my spare time I enjoy camping, hiking and fishing. Along with two daughters I have two dogs and a cat at home.
Megan Nappi, has been working with children for the past 15 years, both in home and in centers. She is the lead toddler teacher at the Curious Caterpillars Learning Center.

She enjoys dancing, singing, and painting as well as spending time with family and friends. In the classroom, she enjoys finding new projects and sensory ideas for the children as well as
spending time staying active thru dancing, yoga, and lots of outside play. She loves learning new things and helping others in any way possible!
My name is Ana, and I am an early childhood education assistant in the infant classroom.
I was born in Costa Rica, and I have lived here in Maine since 2003. I love teaching Spanish to my family and neighborhood kids. When my daughter was younger, I volunteered at her school and at the Lithgow Library in Augusta.
I completed my bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Costa Rica. I worked mostly with patients that had diabetes, helping them to find ways to cope with their emotions, nutrition, and their general well-being.
My name is Miss Michaela and I'm the lead teacher in the early toddler classroom. I have been with The Curious Caterpillars for over a year now. I am currently going to school part-time for my Early Childhood Education degree and already have 5 years experience in the field. I'm a plant mom and a cat mom, and I love reading (my favorite children's books are Corduroy, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, and Madeleine).
Hi, my name is Miss Kayla! I am the lead teacher in the big toddler classroom! I've been here at The Curious Caterpillars since June 2022, but have been working in the childcare field for six years. For three years I studied at the University of Maine Farmington, majoring in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Early Childhood Special Education. Unfortunately, I took a break when covid hit, but I plan on finishing my degree in the future. Until then, I enjoy my time in the classroom. I love to help children learn through hands-on activities as they explore new and exciting things!
Some of my favorite things outside of the classroom include spending time on the beach, going on hikes, visiting new places, and working at a greenhouse!
